Comment
The Agreement was denounced for the European part of the Netherlands on 28 December
1973. The termination took effect on 1 January 1975. On 20 February 1989, the applicability
of the Agreement to Aruba was suspended with retroactive effect to 1 January 1986.
The Agreement was denounced on 13 December 2010 in respect of the Caribbean part of
the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten. The termination took effect on 13
December 2011 in respect of the Caribbean part of the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao
and Sint Maarten.
